Help

s/place is one shared map of the world, 4096 × 2048 pixels: white land, pale blue sea, thin country lines. Every pixel is paintable, oceans included, and changes appear for everyone live.

Select a pixel. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, click to select. Arrow keys move the selection (Shift ×10).
Press Place a pixel, choose a colour, then press Place to confirm. Choosing a colour alone never paints.
Pace yourself. You start with 1 free pixel and earn 1 more every 10 minutes, saving up to 3. Everyone waits 2 seconds between placements. Free pixels are spent before paid ones. Free refills are shared across sessions on the same network to limit farming.

The map uses a simple latitude/longitude grid: each pixel spans about 0.088° on each side, so pixels near the poles cover less ground than those at the equator. Your balance is tied to this browser's session cookie; clearing cookies loses it. s/place is an independent project and not affiliated with Reddit.
